Dear Volker,

We all want to ask you to pass onto the band our grateful thanks for everything which was provided to make our visit so enjoyable and so much fun.

We know just how much research and preparation has to go into planning a visit and your new team must have given a lot of time to achieve such a well-integrated programme of music, activities and catering. We were never short of something to do, to eat or drink and, in all those categories it was excellent.

Our thanks must also go to the hosts who willingly opened their homes to their guests, some of whom were complete strangers, and to the hotel for getting their rooms ready in time for their first guests. Sabine did a superb job with allocating the guests to their hosts and it was so useful having Julia to deal with communication as well as our reservations for Goslar and the Hildesheim tour.

All in all, your management team excelled itself and produced a visit for us which would be hard to beat.

Those who know Reinhold were so pleased to see the pleasure he gained from being able to be at the concert and we hope that returning home to be with Veronika will give them many more happy days together. Who knows where our friendship link and the life of MZG would have been without him. Please convey our best greetings and gratitude to him.

We look forward to your next visit to us in 2025 (some of our newcomers wanted it next year!) when we will be 20 yrs old – a mere youngster by the standards of MZG! Easter is later that year so 23rd April looks likely or if you prefer June then the first week of the month might bring good weather – but we do live in England!! There’s plenty of time to think about and discuss the dates.
